Conference on scientific publishing in the digital age

A conference entitled 'Scientific publishing in the European Research Area: access, dissemination and preservation in the digital age' will take place on 15 and 16 February in Brussels, Belgium.
The aim of the conference will be to discuss and provide policy options for scientific publishing under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) and in the European Research Area (ERA).
Hosted by the European Commission, the conference is targeted at stakeholders concerned with access, dissemination and preservation issues in connection with scientific publication and data.
Keynote speakers at the event will include Commissioner for Science and Research Janez Potocnik and the Commissioner for Information Society and Media, Vivian Reding.For more information, please visit:
