FP7 energy and transport information days

The European Commission's Directorates-General for Research, and Energy and Transport, will hold joint information events in Brussels on 13 and 14 February in the context of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
The information days are intended to offer support to those wishing to prepare a proposal in response to the first FP7 calls.
Within FP7 Cooperation Specific Programme are 10 themes, including energy and transport. Both of these themes are managed jointly by DG Research and DG TREN. The budget for Energy is €2.35 billion, while the budget for transport research, which includes aeronautics, is €4.16 billion.
The first calls for proposal were published on 22 December and will close on 3 May.
The first day, on 13 February, will focus on the first FP7 energy call, while the second day, 14 February, will address the first FP7 transport call. For further information and to register, please visit:
