The UK Research Office (UKRO) will hold a series of information and proposal writing sessions in February. They will outline the aims of the different Marie Curie Actions and on proposal writing for them.

The aim of each session is to provide participants with a deeper understanding of the Marie Curie Actions in the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), the proposal format and key issues that they are required to address in planning and writing their proposal. There will be two different types of session: one focusing on the individual fellowships (individual actions), and one focusing on opportunities for research groups (host actions).

Workshops on the Initial Training Networks (ITN) and Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways (IAPP) will take place at the following locations:

- Newcastle University, 5 February (morning session);
- Advantage West Midlands, 7 February (morning session);
- University of Manchester, 8 February (morning session);
- Natural History Museum, London, 9 February (morning session).

Meanwhile, workshops on the Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowships, Incoming International Fellowships, Outgoing International Fellowships , European Reintegration Grants or International Reintegration Grants will take place at the following locations:

- Newcastle University, 5 February (afternoon session);
- Aston University, 7 February (afternoon session);
- University of Manchester, 8 February (afternoon session);
