World Conference of Science Journalists
The main objectives of the event are to maintain and develop a global network of science journalists, enhance the quality and scope of science reporting, and increase the international coverage of Australian science and scientists.
The event will include plenary sessions on some of the issues facing science journalists, such as climate change, emerging diseases and conflicts between science and faith. The conference will also have provisions for television, online science, radio, daily news and magazines.
