The first edition of the 'Brussels Innovation Awards' will take place in Brussels, Belgium on 28 March 2007.

The competition, organised by Benoît Cerexhe from the Government for the Brussels Capital Region, aims to honour small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the region that have conceived and implemented innovations benefiting the region.

SMEs have until 28 February to register for a chance to win a trophy and a week's training in entrepreneurship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, USA.

The winners will also have the opportunity to meet investors (VC's, Business Angels and more), to whom they can present their most innovative projects so as to receive the necessary funding for the development and implementation of their projects.For more information, please visit:
