A conference entitled 'Nanotechnology - products and processes for environmental benefit' will take place on 16 and 17 May in London, UK.

The event will examine nanotechnologies that can offer real environmental benefits. Themes to be discussed include:

- hazardous chemical substitution;
- resource minimisation;
- reversing pollution;
- carbon emission reduction.

The event will also review the findings of the recently published report by the European Parliament's Scientific Technology Options Assessment (STOA) committee on the role of nanotechnology in chemical substitution.For more information, please visit:
