Summer school on trends in biodiversity, France

The ALTER-Net EU Network of Excellence will hold its second summer school from 1to13 September in Peyresq, France. The topic this year is 'Trends in biodiversity: ecosystems and policy'.

Topics which will be addressed in the school include:
- biodiversity in Europe - state of the art;
- monitoring and assessment;
- modelling and scale issues;
- sociological modelling;
- resilience of systems and communities (social and natural);
- policy analysis and processes;
- discourse analysis;
