International women in science conference
Organised by the EU-funded SET-Routes project, the event will bring together scientists, politicians and other decision-makers, with the aim of inspiring participants to take action that will help attract women into science and keep them there.
The overriding focus of the three-day conference will be to move forward and find concrete ways to improve the prospects of women working in science. Presentations will take a constructive look at the current situation - evaluating progress, identifying good practice and showcasing initiatives that are having a positive impact on the working environment of women scientists.
The meeting comprises four sessions: 'Successful initiatives in the spotlight', 'Committees as gatekeepers', 'What can politics do?' and 'Changing institutional culture'.For more information, please visit:
