The role and dynamics of corporate R&D - conference and call for abstracts

A conference on 'Knowledge for growth; role and dynamics of corporate research and development (R&D)' will take place in Seville, Spain, on 8 and 9 October, organised by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC). A call for abstracts for the conference is open until 20 May.

The conference will examine current understanding of the role and dynamics of R&D for a company's performance and economic growth, and will bring together leading research practitioners and policy analysts.

The main objectives behind the conference are to:
- provide a platform for discussing corporate R&D;
- bring the community of researchers and policy analysts together, sharing their specific knowledge on the subject;
