A workshop on heavy metals in the environment and the wellbeing of humans and animals will be held in Bucharest, Romania, on 20 and 21 April.
The event will focus on:
- Understanding the multi-disciplinary approach needed for research on reducing the entrance of heavy metals into the food chain and risks to human and animal health/wellbeing.
- Risk assessment and epidemiological studies on estimating the effects of heavy metals on animal and human wellbeing.
There will also be a discussion of the opportunities presented by the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) for European joint interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research.For more information, please visit:
