Conference on diet and cancer relationship
The event will draw together basic and clinical scientists from both academic and commercial sectors to provide interdisciplinary insight into the problems and challenges of dissecting diet and cancer relationships.
The scientific goals of the meeting will be to summarise and generate understanding of:
- the role of diet in the normal aging individual and its impact on cancer at the level of the individual and the population;
- the chemoprevention capacity of exploiting dietary signalling pathways through functional foods;
- novel chemotherapy approaches which build upon these dietary signalling pathways.
A parallel series of goals are centred on the integration of this research community and examining existing and future training and research needs.For more information, please visit:
