An event investigating 'Mechanical engineering - the engine for innovation and growth in Europe' will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 29 May.

Guest speakers will include Joachim Würmeling, State Secretary at the German Ministry of Economics and Technology, and Günter Verheugen, European Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry.

'EnginEurope' is a European Commission initiative within its new industrial policy. It focuses on how the mechanical engineering industry can continue to fully exploit and develop its assets as part of Europe's industrial fabric.For further information, please
