ICT workshop for SMEs, Istanbul

The SEE-Innovation Project second mentoring workshop will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, on 7 June 2007.
The event is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that want to find project partners or coordinators for the ICT (information and communication technologies) theme of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). The workshop will be project-oriented, and will be mainly composed of networking sessions. In addition to general and technical information on ICT challenges, networking sessions will include project idea presentations.
The overall objectives of the event are to:
- increase the participation of ICT SMEs in South Eastern European countries in the EU Framework Programmes;
- help SMEs to find project coordinators and partners;
- create strategic collaboration and alliance opportunities at the international level;
- raise awareness among the public of the framework programmes;
- build links between Western Balkan and Accession and Candidate Countries;
- Boost the integration of the Turkish Research Area into the European Research Area (ERA).For more information, please click here(opens in new window).
