Education and research in Europe: new opportunities, new challenges

A conference on education and research in Europe - new opportunities and new challenges - will take place in Lyon, France, on 3 July.

EU Science and Research Commissioner Janez Potocnik will speak at the event, along with representatives from various French research institutes and the French Government.

Conference sessions will address such issues as the EU's Structural Funds, the Seventh Framework Programme for research (FP7), and universities. The director of Lyon's National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) will also sign the European Charter for researchers.For further information, please visit:
