Launch conference of the sustainable nuclear energy technology platform

A conference to mark the launch of the Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform (SNE-TP) will take place on 21 September in Brussels, Belgium.
Janez Potocnik, the EU Science and Research Commissioner will act as the host for the event, which will bring together representatives from the European Commission, industry, academia and national authorities to speak about the following topics:
- the content of SNE-TP's vision document (copies of which will be available at the conference);
- how the platform's proposed development in nuclear fission technology will contribute to addressing security of supply, sustainability including safety and waste, and competitiveness.For more information, please visit:
