An international symposium on animal genomics for animal health will take place in Paris, France, from 23 to 25 October.

The symposium will address:
- what the human genome has accomplished;
- where we currently stand with animal genomes and animal health;
- research projects that are using animal genomics to understand animal diseases, disease susceptibility, desirable animal health traits, and the development of new tools to prevent and control animal diseases;
- critical needs and future applications in animal health - the next steps for research and industry.

The EU-funded Network of Excellence EADGENE is involved in the event.

Renowned academics and industry representatives from around Europe and beyond will speak at the symposium.For further information, please visit:
