The ninth international EMBL (European Molecular Biology Laboratory) PhD student symposium will be held on 25-27 October 2007 in Heidelberg, Germany.
This year the theme of the conference is 'patterns in biology: organisation of life in space and time'. The goal of the event is to present and discuss these patterns, which regulate many aspects of our lives. The event will bring together research students and leading scientists from diverse backgrounds, in order to facilitate interaction between different research areas involving patterns in biology.
