An international conference on patient safety research in the EU will take place from 24 to 26 September in Porto, Portugal.
The three-day event aims to give researchers and policy-makers from European and European neighbouring countries a scientific forum to:
- describe current research in patient safety and allied fields;
- demonstrate for policy makers where evidence from research can inform policy;
- build proposals for future research and a Europe-wide research agenda;
- create international collaborative research networks.
The event on the future of patient safety research in Europe is funded through a Specific Support Action under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) and is part of the Portuguese EU Presidency calendar.For more information, please visit:
