Interurban Transport Telematics Forum
6 July 1994 - 6 July 1994
In the framework of DG XIII's Advanced Transport Telematics (ATT/DRIVE) programme, an Interurban Transport Telematics Forum held its first meeting on 6 July 1994 in Brussels.
The main aims of the forum were:
- To disseminate the results of the ATT/DRIVE programme among road administrations, road and telecommunications operators, and service providers;
- To provide a platform for the participation of these sectors in the Fourth Framework Programme.
The meeting was attended by representatives from European administrative services and the European Broadcasting Union, service providers and invited companies. Plans for investment in interurban road corridors which could provide suitable trial sites for the Fourth Framework Programme were outlined.
The next meeting will be held on 6 October 1994 in Brussels.
