The 14th international symposium on environmental pollution and its impact on life in the Mediterranean region will be held in Seville, Spain, from 10 to 14 October 2007.
The focus of this year's event will be the links between the quality of the environment and human health in the Mediterranean region. Particular attention will be paid to exposure and health effects of vulnerable population groups, such as children and women of child-bearing age. Subjects to be addressed at the conference include:
- children environment and health;
- human exposure through food and non-food products;
- indoor air pollution;
- endocrine disrupters;
- ecosystem function and ecotoxicology;
- ecological disasters and climate change;
- environmental education;
