In the framework of the EU-funded GABRIEL project, an introduction to family-based and population-based genetic research and data analysis will take place at the University Medical Centre in Groningen, the Netherlands, from 10 to 12 October.

Participants will learn about the basic principles of family and population genetics. The relevant background of human genetics and statistics will be explained by experts during interactive theoretical classes.

The theoretically-acquired knowledge on human genetics and statistics will be applied in practical classes on performing genetic data analysis and using common statistical programmes to perform genetic data analysis.For further information, please visit:
