Journalists will have the opportunity to question leading researchers, clinicians, advocates, policy-makers and industry leaders on how they intend to address key challenges in cancer care today at a forum in Rome, Italy, on 26 October.

Topics will include:
- the quest for a cure;
- the rationing of expensive cancer drugs;
- whether or not mediocrity in cancer research is being rewarded to the detriment of real innovation;
- whether or not tumour gene profiling can live up to expectations.

Speakers will include: the chief executive of Cancer Research UK; the scientific director of the Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland; the scientific director of the European Institute of Oncology and the head of oncology at AstraZeneca in the UK.For further information, please contact:
