A course on statistics in risk assessment focusing on dose response modelling will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, from 12 to 16 November. It is organised by the EU-funded CASCADE Network of Excellence on chemicals in the food chain.

The objective of the course is to provide knowledge on dose response modelling in risk assessment of chemicals, including the Benchmark Dose method. It will include general basic statistics, dose response models, the Benchmark Dose method, applications of the models and methods in practical computer classes.

The course will run for one week, full-time. It will consist of lectures as well as computer exercises. The intended learning outcome is that the participants will have knowledge in modelling of continuous and discrete dose-response data and evaluation of dose-response models, and understand and be able to apply the Benchmark Dose method.

The course is intended for PhD students, post docs, senior scientists and other professionals. For more information, please visit:
