Showcase event to highlight Europe's biocommunities

A special event to showcase Europe's biocommunities will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 19 and 20 November.

The event, which marks the first birthday of the Council of European BioRegions (CEBR), will feature:

- showcase debate: fuelling biotechnology in Europe: How Europe develops and retains the people behind science and business;
- the European Research Council (ERC) - an excellence initiative for promoting research in Europe, Professor Fotis Kafatos, President ERC;
- project pitches: delegates present project pitches and build international consortia;
