International conference on digital ecosystems

A conference on digital ecosystems will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 7 November.
The event is organised by the European Commission to celebrate the achievements of the first three years of collaborative EU research and development in digital business ecosystems, and to provide a forum for discussing the future perspectives of the European Digital Ecosystems.
EU Commissioner for the Information Society and Media, Viviane Reding, will open the conference. Each session will be opened by a high-level keynote speaker, providing a vision of the future and addressing the challenges ahead for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a network-based economy. Three round tables with Members of the European Parliament, regional policy makers and academic researchers will complete the agenda.
