An information event on opportunities for industry-academia collaboration under the Marie Curie actions of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) will be held in Birmingham, UK, on 12 November.

The aim of the session is to provide participants with further information on three of the Marie Curie Actions: Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways (IAPP), Initial Training Networks (ITNs), and the International Research Staff Exchange Scheme (IRSES). This will include information on the proposal format and the key issues to be addressed in the proposals.

The event will include presentations from researchers with experience of the Marie Curie Actions in FP6 and in FP7, and presentations by the National Contact Point. In the afternoon there will be an opportunity to arrange one-to-one meetings to discuss project ideas.

The event is being arranged in preparation for the 2008 calls for proposals.For more information, please visit:
