The EuroBioForum 2007 event will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from 5 to 7 December, under the auspices of the Portuguese presidency of the EU. EuroBioForum is an annual forum where researchers, funding organisations and other stakeholders across Europe meet to discuss future life sciences priorities.
Research topics to be addressed at the event include:
- a future with reduced animal testing;
- the European Vascular Biology Institute;
- combating bacterial pathogenesis and antibiotic resistance;
- tracing the pathways of mental illness;
- systems biology to combat metabolic syndrome
