International conference on addiction

An international conference entitled 'Our Addictions: the Pleasure and the Pain' will be held on 30 November at the University of the West of England in Bristol, UK.

Conference speakers will include leading addiction practitioners, medical and scientific authorities from Canada, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK. The focus will be on alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, illicit drugs, gambling, eating disorders, the internet, excessive appetites, addiction and the brain, patterns of behaviour, the cost to society, approaches to treatment and recovery and the globalisation of addiction.For further information, please
