A conference on information and communication technologies (ICT) research collaboration will be held in Mexico City, Mexico, on 6 and 7 December.
During the event, EU-Mexican projects will be presented and discussed, common ICT priorities will be agreed and strategies to participate in EU research will be explored. The conference will coincide with the launch of the third ICT call for proposals of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), and it will be an important occasion to explore possible EU-Mexican partnerships.
The event will gather together high level policy-makers in the field of ICT, university rectors and key ICT researchers.
The conference is organised by the EU-funded WINDS-LA project, which aims to deepen strategic cooperation on ICT research between Europe and Latin America, and to strengthen participation of Latin American research actors in FP7.For more information, please visit:
