A conference on 'Good Bioethical Practices' will be held on 4 December in Brussels.

The event will address bioethical topics involving biobanks, gene and cell therapies, stem cells and genetic testing with a special focus on issues affecting European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The conference, co-funded by the European Commission under its Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), aims at allowing biotechnology companies the opportunity to listen to the concerns of society. At the same time, it is intended to allow the public an insight into the questions arising from the daily practices of biotech companies, particularly SMEs.For further information, please visit:
