A public panel discussion on the ethical aspects of RNA interference (RNAi) based gene therapy will be held in Berlin, Germany, on 3 December.

The event will investigate the benefits and risks of silencing gene therapy compared to other more conventional therapies currently used for the treatment of severe diseases such as cancer, neuro-degeneration and chronic inflammation. Panel participants include both representatives from the scientific community and experts on bioethics.

The discussion is organised by the EU-funded RIGHT (RNA interference technology as human therapeutic tool) project.For more information, please visit:
