Third ERA Chemistry Flash Conference in Killarney, Ireland

As part of the ERA-Chemistry Network, the Irish Research Council for Science, Engineering and Technology (IRCSET Ireland) is organising the third ERA Chemistry 'Flash' Conference in Killarney, Ireland, from 9 to 13 March.

The conference is entitled 'Carbohydrates at the interfaces of biology, medicine and materials science' and targets experienced and young researchers who are working in the area of carbohydrate chemistry and chemical biology.

Topics will include:
- synthesis and (chemo)enzymatic synthesis of carbohydrates and glycoconjugates;
- novel chemical methods for carbohydrate analysis;
- glycobiology, glycomics;
- development of therapeutics/vaccines based on carbohydrates
- carbohydrate processing enzymes;
- glycomaterials;
