A course on 'health risk assessment - principles and applications' will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, on 14 to 18 April.

The objective of the course is to provide knowledge and understanding of the methods and principles used in health risk assessment and to familiarise participants with the general procedures used in health risk assessments.

The course will include fundamental concepts in toxicology and risk assessment, epidemiology, exposure assessment, and will also cover risk assessment in regulatory decision-making, critical effects, extrapolation, uncertainty factors and allocation of health-based guidance values.

The course is intended for PhD students, post docs, senior scientists and other professionals. The course is organised by the EU-funded RA-COURSES project, in collaboration with CASCADE Network of Excellence.For more information, please visit:
