Avril Doyle, MEP and Member of the Parliamentary Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI), will host a public hearing on the European Community Animal Health Strategy and Vaccine Technologies on 13 February in the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium.

The event will focus on the fourth pillar of the recently published EU Community Animal Health Strategy, which addresses support for science, technology and research.

The crucial role that technological developments can have in alleviating the negative impacts of infectious and endemic diseases in agriculture will be explored, including the latest developments in vaccine technology as enabling tools to achieve the goals of the Community Animal Health Strategy.For further information, please contact:
