The second 'Workshop on low-dimensional structures: properties and applications' will take place in Aveiro, Portugal, from 31 January to 1 February.
The organisers, the Department of Physics of the University of Aveiro, the I3N - Institute for Nanostructures, Nanomodeling and Nanofabrication, and the IT - Telecommunication Institute, Portugal, are attempting to bring together scientists working on low-dimensional materials, and thereby facilitate discussions on the most recent development in this field.
The workshop will take a look at the advance of nano-science and nano-technology and provide a forum for scientists from different disciplines, including physics, chemistry, biology, materials science and engineering. Discussions on fabrication techniques, optical and transport properties as well as applications of low-dimensional structures will take place.For further information, please visit:
