The second conference of the Marie Curie 'Genome architecture in relation to disease' project will be held in Madrid, Spain on 4 to 7 May. The focus of the event will be on the interplay between genetics, epigenetics and non-coding RNAs.

It is now well recognised that many complex diseases such as cancer have strong genetic and epigenetic components. Subjects which will be addressed at the conference include the impacts of alterations in DNA methylations and underlying genetic changes on our predisposition to certain diseases.

The programme will also feature updates on some of the latest technologies developed for investigating these kinds of changes including chip on chip, DNA methylation analysis and high-throughput SNP analysis.For more information, please visit:
