A conference entitled 'EU Research and Technology Development Programmes for SMEs [small and medium-sized enterprises]' will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, on 14 and 15 February.
The aim of the conference is to provide new information on the recently published Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) SME calls. It will also seek to enhance the capabilities of participants on technical issues, such as how project proposals are written and evaluated, and how financial issues and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are managed.
More than 200 representatives from SMEs, industry, universities, research centres and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) are expected to attend the conference.
Speakers include a number of high-level government officials, as well as representatives from the European Commission's Research and Enterprise Directorates General.For more information, please visit:
