The European Joint Conferences on Theory and Practice of Software (ETAPS) will be held from 29 March to 6 April in Budapest, Hungary, where internationally renowned researchers will talk about current issues in software science. According to the organisers, it is the 'primary European forum for academic and industrial researchers working on topics relating to Software Science'.

ETAPS was established in 1998 to bring together five main annual conferences including the International Conference on Compiler Construction (CC), the European Symposium on Programming (ESOP), the Fundamental Approaches to Software Engineering (FASE) conference, the Foundations of Software Science and Computation Structures (FOSSACS) conference and the Tools and Algorithms for the Construction and Analysis of Systems (TACAS) conference. ETAPS 2008, which is the 11th event in the series, is accompanied by satellite workshops.For further information, please visit:
