Conference: European perspectives on innovation and policy

A conference on European perspectives on innovation and policy will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, on 16 and 17 April.
The event, which is organised by the EU-funded VISION Era-Net project, will focus on the challenges of open innovation for policy-makers and new directions in national innovation policy governance structures. The conference is particularly intended to facilitate interaction between researchers, policy makers, and research funding officers in order to develop perspectives on European innovation policy research strategies.
The conference will also introduce the initial outcomes of VISION Era-Net research on open innovation and policy governance.
In spring 2008, the project is due to complete its first joint research programmes which are based on the themes 'Collaborative and open innovation: future challenges for national innovation policies in the emerging European Research Area' and 'Governance structures in national research and innovation policy'.For more information, please visit:
