The European Science Foundation (ESF) and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) are organising a frontier science conference for young researchers in the areas of cognitive science and robotics from 9 to 15 March in Kanagawa, Japan.

Leading researchers from Europe and Japan will hold a series of lectures during the week, aimed at providing young researchers with the state-of-the-art knowledge as well as strengthening their interest in cognitive robotics.

Cognitive robotics is where the frontier of science meets that of technology. Neuroscience focuses on the nature of neurons and the brain. Cognitive science studies the nature of the human mind. The grand challenge of cognitive robotics is to achieve natural and intelligent interaction of robots with humans.For further information, please visit:
