Training conference on quieter surface transport

The EU-funded SILENCE ('Quieter surface transport in urban areas') project is organising a final training conference for stakeholders of the potential of different noise abatement measures on 28 and 29 May 2008 in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany.

Over the last three years, the SILENCE project, which is now drawing to a close, developed an integrated methodology for the improved control of surface transport noise in urban areas. It provides technologies for the efficient control of surface transport noise, innovative strategies for action plans on urban transport noise abatement, and practical tools for their implementation.For further information, please visit:
