Symposium on nutrition and health from pregnancy to adolescence

The international symposium on healthy lifestyle and nutrition in Europe: from pregnancy to adolescence will be held in Granada, Spain on 23 April.
The symposium, which is organised in the framework of the EU-funded EARNEST project, will analyse the latest results from EARNEST regarding children's nutrition and the appearance of different diseases in adulthood (cardiovascular problems, diabetes, obesity, allergy, bone health and neuromotor and behaviour results).
The event includes sessions on the following topics:
- early nutrition programming of obesity and insulin resistance;
- early nutrition and mental development;
- development of the immunological system and its relationship with children's nutrition;
- children's nutrition: policies and communication.
The conference is aimed at paediatricians, neonatologists, obstetricians, biochemists, physiologists, nutritionists, dieticians, pharmaceutics, biologists, nurses, matrons, etc.For more information, please visit:
