4 April 2008 - 4 April 2008
Belgium
An information day on the ARTEMIS (embedded computer systems) and ENIAC (nano-electronics) JTIs (Joint Technology Initiatives) will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 4 April.

The event is organised by the EU-funded EPISTEP project, which aims to boost the participation of SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises) in European Technology Platforms. With the first calls for proposals from these JTIs due in April, this event is designed to inform the research communities about the possibilities in these two JTIs.

The event, which is organised in close collaboration with the European Commission and the two industrial associations behind the new JTIs, will cover the JTI process and funding scheme and keynote talks from each JTI. The work programme of each JTI will also be presented and details of the first calls will be revealed. Leading organisations will also present their views and ideas for project subjects. For more information, please visit:
