Meeting on sustainable farm animal breeding and reproduction technology

A 'Turkey discussion' of the 'Sustainable farm animal breeding and reproduction technology platform' (FABRE TP) will be held in Ankara, Turkey, on 2 April.
The meeting is one of a series of 'country discussions' which form part of the development of FABRE TP's Strategic Research Agenda (SRA). The aim of the discussions is to establish a local view of the major directions, priorities and barriers in farm animal reproduction and selection research in all domesticated animal species (including companion animals) for the short, medium and long term.
Participants from industry, academia and other stakeholders are invited to give their opinion on the activities of the technology platform FABRE TP, the role envisaged for the SRA in the European framework programmes in general, and the Turkish priorities for European, regional and national financing of research and knowledge transfer in animal breeding and reproduction.For more information and to register, please e-mail:
