The EU-funded SENSOR ('Sustainability impact assessment: tools for environmental, social and economic effects of multifunctional land use in European regions') project will hold an international conference on 'impact assessment of land use changes' from 6 to 9 April in Berlin, Germany.

The event, organised in cooperation with the EFORWOOD ('Tools for sustainability impact assessment of the forestry-wood chain'), PLUREL ('Peri-urban land use relationships - strategies and sustainability assessment tools for urban-rural linkages') and SEAMLESS ('Small enterprise accessing the electronic market of the enlarged Europe by a smart service infrastructure') projects, will bring together scientific experts on impact assessment, land use and landscape research, environmental economics, agriculture, forestry, rural sociology, urbanisation and the science policy interface.

Recent findings in the field of impact assessment of land use and policy making will be shared within an interdisciplinary forum with the aim of promoting sustainable development.For further information, please visit:
