Free knowledge and technology conference, Barcelona, Spain

An international conference on 'Free knowledge, free technology - education for a free information society' will be held from 15 to 17 July in Barcelona, Spain.

The conference will centre on the production and sharing of educational and training materials in the field of free software and open standards.

The programme consists of a mix between keynote speeches, panel discussions and parallel tracks on the following topics:
- social implications of free knowledge and free technologies;
- technological aspects of e-learning;
- learning standards;
- free software in society;
- legal issues of free knowledge
