The French National Council of Engineers and Scientists (CNISF) will hold the International Conference of Women Engineers and Scientists (ICWES) from 15 to 18 July in Lille, France. This year's edition is entitled 'A changing world: new opportunities for women engineers and scientists'.

The conference provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and information with professional women and female academics working in an international environment. The programme will emphasise sustainable development, the role of information technology and communication in industry, and different gender aspects in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Conference topics include general scientific issues such as climate change, biotechnology and ethics, as well as issues pertaining to the role of women in management and leadership positions and gender in STEM.For further information, please visit:
