A two-day workshop exploring the state of the art in biomolecular simulation will take place in Barcelona, Spain, on 10 and 11 July.

The workshop combines seminar presentations with hands-on sessions. It will concentrate on two vital issues in the molecular dynamics simulation of biomolecular systems: Firstly, it will cover preparing systems for molecular dynamics, examining issues such as correcting structural errors, coping with ionisation states and solvation, plus equilibration procedures. Secondly, it will cover tools and techniques for the analysis of the very large trajectory data sets modern simulations can produce, including the assessment of data quality and extraction of biologically relevant information.

The course will be suitable for those with limited previous experience in biomolecular simulation, though a basic understanding of simulation methodologies and of computing in a Unix/Linux environment will be needed. For further information, please visit:
