A conference entitled 'EU enlargement: lessons learnt and future prospects' will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, on 23 and 24 June.
The event, which is organised by the EU-funded Think & Act project in collaboration with the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), will provide an opportunity to revisit the issue of enlargement and to discuss the future political, economic and institutional structure of the European Union.
The Think & Act project aims to stimulate dialogue among transnational and national researchers and policy makers. The conference in Istanbul is the last of a cycle of the project conferences. It will focus on the challenges of EU enlargement and raise different possible strategies and scenarios for the Union's future, based on the results of EU-funded projects.For further information, please visit:
