Assembly on space research, Montréal, Canada

The 37th Scientific Assembly of the Committee on Space Research (COSPAR) will be held in Montréal, Canada, from 13 to 20 July.

Presentations and plenary sessions will cover the following topic areas:
- space studies of the Earth's surface, meteorology and climate;
- space studies of the of the Earth-Moon system, plants and small bodies of the solar system;
- space studies of the upper atmospheres of the Earth and planets including reference atmospheres;
- space plasmas in the solar system, including planetary magnetosphere;
- research in astrophysics from space;
- life sciences as related to space;
- materials sciences in space;
- fundamental physics in space.

In addition, there will be panels on various topics as well as special events.

COSPAR' aims to promote space research and the exchange of results, information and opinions at an international level and to provide a forum, open to all scientists, for the discussion of problems that may affect scientific space research.For further information, please visit:
